Tilehurst Youth & Community Centre is at the heart of Tilehurst Triangle which is the community hub of West Reading. It is located on the first floor of a two storey building just above the Co-op shops. There is also an accessible lift on the side of building available to all hirers of the Centre.

The centre offers a large spacious hall with dance mirrors as well as a lounge area, kitchen and meeting room; all of which are available for hire to individuals and organisations.

The hall & Lounge holds 150 people (standing) or 80 people (sitting). The Meeting Room holds 10 people.

Please note the Meeting Room can only be hired with the hall.

You will need to pay a £100 deposit in accordance with the terms and conditions below. The deposit is a separate charge from the private function rates of each room:

Non charity rate:

• Hall & Lounge £33 per hour
• Meeting Room £11.40 per hour

Charity/not for profit, RBC and BFfC rate:

• Hall & Lounge £20 per hour
• Meeting Room £7.40 per hour

One of hires will be subject to a fee of £25.00 plus VAT to allow for the security company to open and close the building.  On public bank holidays these fees is doubled.’  These hires will also be subject to a £100 booking deposit which is refundable providing the building is left as per our terms and conditions.

All groups and organisations will be required to provide a copy of their public liability insurance.  

This is a non-smoking building. 

Please note: if you choose to travel by car, there is very limited parking available at the centre due to its location, therefore we advise travelling by bus or getting a taxi. ilding, including vaping and e-cigarettes. This includes the grounds of the property, smoking must be outside of the property.

Tilehurst Youth & Community Centre is located on Tilehurst Triangle and is easily accessible from the centre of Reading (approximately 25 minutes by bus). The nearest bus routes are: Number 17 & 33.The number 17 provides a regular service 24/7. The bus stop you need to use is called Tilehurst Triangle.
