Watch the 2024 Reading Duck Race from the large pedestrian area around the Oracle Riverside as the ducks swim from Bridge St to Queens Car Park along the Kennet and Avon canal.

Timetable: 10am - The fun starts in The Oracle pedestrian area with face painting and ticket sales
4pm - The race starts!

1st Prize : £200 Other prizes have been donated by shops in the Oracle. Tickets can also be purchased by the link below or at the Oracle Riverside on the day.

How the race works:

1. You 'rent' ducks on the website or at the Rotary Club stall on the day (You don't get to keep the ducks!)
2. Your duck has its personal, unique number.
3. For online sales ducks will be randomly assigned
4. All ducks are created equal and can swim
5. The race is run at 4pm on Saturday 14th September
6. If your duck is a winner, you will be contacted within 48 hours if you are not here on the day.
